In Bicla-Net erscheint das Fahrrad als Verbindung über gesellschaftliche Schichten und Grenzen hinweg. Bicla-Net ist eine Installation im öffentlichen Raum aus zusammengehängten Veloreifen. Bicla-Net wurde erstmals in Mexico und später an verschiedenen Orten in Schweizer Städten weitergeführt.

Die verschiedenen Serien zum Thema Velo bilden einen umfangreichen Werkzyklus. Neun Jahre lang (2003 – 2012) hat Janeth Berrettini in Mexico City Projekte mit Velos realisiert. Ihre Arbeit war auch ein soziales Anliegen und hat unter anderem dazu beigetragen, dass in der Stadt Velowege geschaffen wurden.

In Bicla-Net, the bicycle appears as a connection across social classes and borders. Bicla-Net is an installation in public space made of bicycle tires hung together. Bicla-Net was first shown in Mexico and later continued in several locations in Swiss cities.

The various series on the theme of the bicycle form an extensive cycle of works. For nine years (2003 – 2012) Janeth Berrettini realized projects with bicycles in Mexico City. Her work was also a social concern and contributed, among other things, to the creation of bicycle paths in the city.
